Game Concept:

Name: “Harmonia’s Path”

Type: Puzzle-adventure game

Gameplay: Players take on the role of a guardian spirit in the mythical land of Harmonia. The game’s objective is to design and build a series of enchanted gardens tailored to the needs of various mystical creatures that inhabit the land. Each level represents a different aspect of UX design principles:

  • Curiosity Garden: Players must explore and interact with the environment to uncover hidden elements that will appeal to the creatures.
  • Brainstorming Fields: Players encounter challenges that require creative problem-solving and brainstorming to progress, representing the brainstorming aspect of UX design.
  • Empathy Labyrinth: A maze where players must navigate by understanding the emotional and sensory needs of the creatures, emphasizing empathy and the consideration of all user senses.
  • Balance Bridge: A level where players must balance the emotional and logical elements of a space to create a harmonious environment.

Players earn rewards for innovative designs and demonstrating a deep understanding of the creatures’ needs. The game encourages players to think from the perspective of the users (creatures) and to create experiences that are not only functional but also emotionally resonant and contextually relevant.

Through both the story and the game, learners can grasp the importance of curiosity, empathy, and a balanced approach to problem-solving in UX design, all within engaging, imaginative contexts.
